The
"Spare Rib Rescue" was the most challenging and dangerous
scene to film. Three stuntwomen would be suspended from a rope
bridge that explodes and leaves them dangling thirty feet above
a vat of "barbecue sauce." Each shot had to be worked
out with
great care in advance. A 3-D model was created to aid the various
departments in preparing to shoot the sequence. Director Lawrence
Blume made frame-by-frame storyboards so everyone knew exactly
what
shots were needed.

Designers Dina Goldman and Eric Archer built a model of the bridge
set.
